François FORGE
Founder & CEOFrançois is Senior Executive with international exposure and a strong background in Strategy, Marketing, Innovation, Strategic Partnership and Business Development.
He was acting as Chief Strategy Officer and ExCom member at Aésio Mutuelle, a top 5 health & protection insurer in France, where he set-up and managed the Corporate Strategy department (40 FTE). His team was mainly in charge of designing and driving the 2026 ambition with a key focus on business diversification and transformation plan. As part of his role, Francois has:
Developed a new strategic positioning leveraging a blue ocean approach,
Identified new growth engines and proposed a set of targeted companies to partner with or to invest in (M&A),
Driven the transformation plan with the ambition to break-even by 2025,
Previously, François was Head of Strategic Innovation for Wakam, a leading European digital insurer, where he was directly reporting to both CEO and Chief Revenue Officer. As part of his role, François was in charge of driving new growth opportunities, building innovation capacities and evangelizing innovation to influence the brand in the market and creating pull for creative talent.
François has also spent more than 11 years for AXA where he was leading the Emerging Markets topic at AXA Group’s international headquarters since 2011. He was in charge of building the global ambition and strategy to address the emerging middle class in the high growth markets. Which includes dedicated products, alternative distribution strategy, Digital tools and a strong understanding of the customer behaviour.
After having convinced the AXA Group Management Committee (headed by the AXA Global CEO) to adopt this strategy in 2014, he sets-up his own regional position and team in Hong Kong. He drove the implementation of the Emerging Customers & Alternative Distributions strategy and managed the business development at Local Business Unit level with a specific focus on India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia. Under his leadership, AXA Asia acquired 6 million new customers through disruptive partnerships especially with Digital players and Telcos.
Before taking up this challenge, François has driven an innovation team who pioneered digital mobile applications Apps within the AXA Group from 2008. His team was especially in charge of launching new services to improve the customer experience facing a motor / home accident by leveraging mobile technology.
Moreover, François was closely involved in the AXA innovation community especially around InsurTech, AI and Blockchain. He is recognized as a forward-thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and very good communication skills. Energetic and Enthusiastic, Francois has a strong leadership ability and excels in on-boarding a team and convincing Top Management.
François has a Business Consulting background and spent more than 7 years for IBM Business Consulting (formerly PWC Consulting) mainly focused on the insurance industry with significant assignments in China and Latin America.
Last but not least, François has completed an Executive MBA program at Kellogg-HKUST, ranked #1 eleven times by the Financial Times, including in 2022.
